The Fab Four – Beatles Cover Band – River Cree

Last night I took my friend Charles  (aka Chuky Danger) out to the River Cree venue for his B-Day to check out the Beatles cover band  – The Fab Four.

Normally I think cover bands are tad sad, but last night’s show was truly amazing. Not only were we both most impressed, the show left us with an even greater appreciation for the real band; and that is saying something since we were  both already very avid  Beatles fans.

As far as I can tell the Fab Four are the reigning kings of cover bands. They play the music note-for-note, perfectly recreating the sound with vintage guitars and amplifiers. The vocals are stunning, and they wear replica costumes, including the “early years” look, and the later Srgt Peppers and hippy era attire.

It was the perfect show for any music fan, and it left the 3000 fans wanting more. What a great tribute to an incredible band that changed the world of music forever.

If you wish to check out how much the band sounds and looks the the Beatles:

And just for fun, here is the historic footage from when The Beatles played the Ed Sullivan Show:

And one more from the real deal, just to highlight what a great live band they were:
