Sharing some more beautiful sights and sounds of Cape Breton Island during the annual Celtic Colours music festival. Many thanks to the MacLellan and MacLeod clans for the kind hospitality over the past week.
I’ve included a couple short videos at the top (stunning scenery and a mini-taste of the music scene) as well as a few more at the bottom (fly-fishing etc) including a quick clip of the talented Ashley MacIsaac. It was nice to hear Ashley give a shout out to my grand-uncle father Colonel MacLeod as the person who started him down the path as a paid musician.
Ashley did a fine job as MC the other night and was as entertaining as always. I wasn’t really supposed to record anything but I know he wouldn’t mind the 20 second sound-bite.
