Ali and Liam vs Gavin the Super Goalie

As is often the case, I’ve been asked by one of our little guys to post some video – here is more hockey action, this time it’s street hockey with Alistair and his buddies Gavin and Liam.

As you will notice, Gavin was an incredible goalie today. Earlier he was stopping nearly every shot they threw at him, and even in these two clips (after he was a little tired) he made several stellar saves. Good times in the great outdoors.

Before & After Haircut Shots and Missing the EFMF

Quiet day at the ranch. We spoke with family back in AB which was tres nice.

Missing the Edmonton Folk fest this weekend – first time in about 15 years. Darn. I especially would have liked to have seen Lyle Lovett again – total class act, and a truly gifted song-writer.

Our boys have been to the fest every year of their wee lives. This year we’ll have to make it to the Ottawa Folk Fest, which will make for an interesting comparison. I’ve seen the lineup and although the list is smaller, there is no shortage of notable acts, several of them are the same, if memory serves.

Just for kicks, below are quick B.H. & A.H. shots.

(and us testing out the new sticks – who says you need to live in burbs to play hockey outside? ;)

And here’s a couple from the fest (emailed to me from the wonder neighbour and folkie extraordinaire, Richard Meunier.
